TTaken Saturday around mid day. This is a "stitch" of 6 images. The snow, the fall colors, the bridge and it's reflection. Beautiful.
The fog makes this one special.

Yosemite-Photo Friday
I am headed to Yosemite in a October to learn from Keith Walklett and Mike Osborne. Thought I would take a look at the images I got the 1st time. This one is a favorite. Think I will also use in a collaborative piece I am working on for the 1st Thursday show with Jerry Hendershot. The water and texture of this one should work well/

Headed to the Clearwater Club? "Might as Well!"
Red sky at night
Taken Tuesday July 10th, a sleepy Snake river slowly flows below the Guffey Bridge at Celebration Park. As the sun sets the smokey landscape erupts in red, umbers, and a subtle undertone of blue. With wild fires throughout Idaho's high desert, I drove from Boise looking for a place that would reflect the mood of a smoke fill sunset. Think I got it!
Technically this is a very straight image. Slight tweaking in Photoshop, including a vignette and a minor color shift to reflect the actual redness of the sky. Also nudged out the powerlines.
Street Shooter-Photo Friday
Way back in the olden times, I made many photos of signs. Here is one the old Street Shooter Style!
Chicken Jim's-Photo Friday
The clouds have been glorious this early summer. Wednesday afternoon found me standing in the road looking at "Rudy" the retro plastic Chicken above Jim's cafe on Hays. Across from the Co-op, not the coop. Taken with my telephoto to bring up he clouds and then placed 4-up and printed on galvanized steel using the Metaluxia™ process.
It will be on display this weekend. 12x12 on a simple wood frame. $125/sign & numbered.
Jump Creek-Photo Friday
The creek that creates Jump Creek Falls, rolls into a tight canyon that reminds me Moab. Taken a couple of weeks ago, the glory of a Owyhee canyon lands shows.
The tech stuff, a couple of Topaz filter tweeks, some shading and a tablet applied PhotoShop Pixel Bender layer. Oh, and a little dodging in the shadows deep in the canyon.
May try this one as a trypdytch.
Red and Black-Photo Friday
Yes, I know it is Thursday, but it's 1st Thursday and I don't know when I will get back to the computer.
This is one of my oldest and favorite images. Taken way back when the glorious Blues Bouquet was jumpin'. This is the view of the back of 1010 Main. This version is three galvanized steel Metaluxia™ panels each 8"x24" it forms a two foot square. Signed as framed $425.00.
