Boisee has had a long discussion over gas prices and the media. (see 10 cents) Here is a prediction. Although no media outlet discussed prices going from almost $3.00 a gallon back to $2.00 recently. There will be a rash of stories with headlines like “Gas to reach $3.00---beyond.†
This is the best example of the “bad news sells papers†ever. Just once it would be nice to see a headline like. “Gas prices crashing Soon to hit record lows. The poor and the car manufactures are rejoicing.
