2008 Boise calendarMorning snow-afternoon sun. A common winter day in Boise. This shot comes from a walk down 9th street. Just above Angell’s patio trees line the street. Their bright red berries must not taste good to the birds. Long after the varmints have gathered all the other berries and nuts these still linger. The stark white of the snow contrasted with the blue sky and the red fruit. However it wasn’t until I noticed the round red shape against the edgy lines of the building that the photo “popped.â€
