I was waiting for the weather to clear before I took this! Decided not to wait till May.

Tried to buy this post card. Any ideas where it was taken? I’m stumped. Maybe 8th street, looks like the old Hotel Boise sign way in the back.

  3. Skelly Says:  January 1st, 2009 at 4:57 pm eYou’re correct. On the right, that’s the building that became part of the new Boise public library. Go to the Anne Frank monument and compare this to today’s view.

Additional details: - The two structures opposite 8th Street from the library (U.S. Plywood and the little free-standing house) are still there, but will not survive the eventual Library Blocks redevelopment. - The tallish broad structure a few blocks in the distance is the old Eastman Building, way before its abandonment and arson. - Sticking up behind it, the slender top of the Hoff.
