Been sitting on this one due to the nature of angst stories about Dave Krick create!!! However Dave and André(Andy) have parted ways. André is pursuing a project somewhere else in the valley. I believe the Krick organization will maintain Andre’s as is for the time being.
Boise Lust!
>Forbes has listed Boise as the 5th most lustful city in America. Actually we tied with SLC, so the methodology based on sales of contraceptives and condoms may be a bit off. Denver is number one and Seattle and Portland are also in the top five. Is it the weather out here? hard work we can be #1.

Grape Escaping?
Pretty serious rumors abound that the Grape Escape may be shutting down. This is a bummer. Guess all of the new competition has taken a toll. The patio of the “Grape†has been a see and be seen staple for years. Hope the innuendo is false.

Apple Love
Yep, I am going to talk about my Iphone again. Here is the deal it broke. HA HA-I can here the chuckles now.
However this is why I am writing. It failed at the market Saturday. Think about that, Saturday afternoon. Sunday is not a business day, Monday is Christmas eve, Tuesday Christmas. No phone till after the 1st of the year right? Not so fast you Apple haters. I called early evening Saturday. On Monday, yep Monday! a Fed Ex box shows up with a temporary phone(I did pay extra for the temp.) On Wednesday I receive notice that Apple has received my phone. Thursday it was fixed and a new phone with a full new waranty arrived before 10:30 Friday. Six days from when I called. With a Saturday, Sunday, Christmas eve and Christmas day in between.

Tom Grainey's for sale?
The Boise Weekly is reporting that Grainey's is for sale. Apparently a price has been set and the owner is denying the rumor. Not sure how to root on this one. As badly as I and just about every good bartender(not to mention waitstaff and customers) in town has been treated by said owner. Tom Greedys & Gilly’s are still about the last places to play music I like.

Rant
Haven’t ranted in a long time. Lately a few really trivial things have sprung up to bug me. Here are a few. . . Restaurants where the plates are larger than the table.
That stupid Visa commercial that trys to convince us that a credit card is faster than cash.
People who buy a $1.00 cup of coffee with a card.
Animals in stores. Especially restaurants.
Old guys with no shirts. No one with gray chest hair should be topless!
Spandex. Period, any size, any gender.
Pants and skirts on the same pair of legs.

Iphone

When I was about 7, I was able to scrape enought money together to buy a cheap red transitor radio from Thirfy Drug. Before it all music was tied to a cord. In the house, or in the car. So grown ups decided what to lisiten to. With my own radio I could listen to "my" music. KXFD, or a ball game. It was empowering for a little kid. Much later the phone became portable and you could get a call anywhere. Soon after the MP3 player gave us a whole wall of music in a postage stamp.
Untill now the interent was tied up. At the office, or home it took big computer and phone or cable line to use.
With the Iphone and the smart phones that will follow it is like that old transistor radio agian. You can take your "internet" with you everywhere. Check mail, or the BSU score. Google the salesman that is trying so hard to sell you a timeshare. Full access to my www.AmericanPhotoSource.com site. Plus all the blues a guy could ever want. Almost as cool as my little red am radio!
