Grape Escaping?

Pretty serious rumors abound that the Grape Escape may be shutting down. This is a bummer. Guess all of the new competition has taken a toll. The patio of the “Grape” has been a see and be seen staple for years. Hope the innuendo is false.

Motel Vacancy-photo Friday

Motel 2 web.jpgNice to have some time off from the market and the shows. I have been working on some more universal images. What do you all think of this one?

Apple Love

Yep, I am going to talk about my Iphone again. Here is the deal it broke. HA HA-I can here the chuckles now.

However this is why I am writing. It failed at the market Saturday. Think about that, Saturday afternoon. Sunday is not a business day, Monday is Christmas eve, Tuesday Christmas. No phone till after the 1st of the year right? Not so fast you Apple haters. I called early evening Saturday. On Monday, yep Monday! a Fed Ex box shows up with a temporary phone(I did pay extra for the temp.) On Wednesday I receive notice that Apple has received my phone. Thursday it was fixed and a new phone with a full new waranty arrived before 10:30 Friday. Six days from when I called. With a Saturday, Sunday, Christmas eve and Christmas day in between.

Keyboarist Barry Goldberg, hamonical play Corky Siegel, and guitarist Nick Gravenites and Harvey Mandel play the songs that helped define the blues."

Anybody out there in inernet land know anything about this?

Tom Grainey's for sale?

The Boise Weekly is reporting that Grainey's is for sale. Apparently a price has been set and the owner is denying the rumor. Not sure how to root on this one. As badly as I and just about every good bartender(not to mention waitstaff and customers) in town has been treated by said owner. Tom Greedys & Gilly’s are still about the last places to play music I like.

Any chance of a new owner with musical taste and a clue how to treat staff and patrons?

After Holiday SALE at least 20% Off

The Market Merchants are having a sale. We would rather sell it then move it back home. I am going to bring down a few “scratch & dents.” Nicked frames, stretched canvases, odd sizes, inventory reduction and old prints that haven’t sold etc. Cleaning out the closet sort of speak. I'll be hanging around this afternoon(Wednesday)
